Fan Made Music Videos

Fan made music videos is when someone finds a song and matches it to their favourite show or movie. When I was 15, I got inspired by a Sonic the hedgehog music video by Bill Alexander, which I found to be impressive with the special effects and how the scenes matched the words to the song.

After a while I started watching other peoples Fan Made music videos and soon came across Anime Music Videos (AMV). I think these amvs what got me to start watching animes. After a while I decided I was going to make one myself. I only had one program called Movie Maker 2.1 I can use, which disappointed me because it was the only free program that was good enough and it doesn't have a lot of effects. I manage to download my clips off people’s websites and got songs the same way. My first ever music video was a Sonic the hedgehog one with the song Follow me (I can’t remember the artist).

Two years ago I got my hands on a program called Adobe Premiere Elements, and my music videos had all the effects I wanted. I wasn’t limited to using no effects anymore. The one I created with a lot of effects was this anime called One Piece.

But near the end of the year the computer got broke and I lost the program because I borrowed it off a friend and I don’t see her anymore. So I’m back to square one.

Over the years I created over 50 amvs to different animes. But now I got the programs I can use to download what I want without spending days looking around the internet.

Bill Alexander is still making fan made music videos too this day. His latest one is called Gifts and Curses, which is a Spider Man 2 music video to the song Gifts and Curses by Yellowcard.

This music video inspired my to create one for April and Casey from the TMNT movie. The song reminds me of their relationship and I imagined the clips to the words I heard.

Overall I have enjoyed editing since I was 15 years old and I know I still got a long way to go before I am really good at this, but I hope to do Music Videos or edit movies in the future.

Interactive Flash (Fishing)

Interactive Game by ~WaterEmi on deviantART

I did this in 3 hours from scratch and with help I managed to do it. Still hasn't changed my mind about flash, still hate the program.
